LSLN was founded in 2023 to create a community of Scottish lawyers practising in London. We host regular networking events, which are attended by solicitors and barristers practising across a range of areas. We also encourage trainees, paralegals and those completing pupillage to attend our events.

David Fitzpatrick

David is a senior associate at Peters & Peters specialising in commercial disputes and civil fraud. He trained in Scotland and moved to England upon qualifying. He is admitted to practise as a solicitor in both England & Wales and Scotland.

Thérèse Marie Rodgers

Thérèse Marie is a partner in the Construction Disputes team at Forsters. She acts for developers, building owners, contractors and consultants on all types of construction disputes and has considerable experience in the oil and gas, hydropower, renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.

Alistair Hayes

Alistair is a senior associate in the employment litigation team at Lewis Silkin. He studied at the University of Edinburgh before moving to England to complete the GDL and LPC. His practice mainly focuses on High Court employee competition litigation involving restrictive covenant breaches, team moves and misuse of confidential information. He also acts for clients in the Employment Tribunal. 

Rebecca Wyke

Rebecca Wyke is an associate at Howard Kennedy specialising in commercial dispute resolution. She advises corporate and private clients in the UK and internationally on commercial disputes across a range of sectors.

James Ware

Originally from Edinburgh, James is an associate at Peters & Peters specialising in business crime and investigations. Before joining Peters & Peters, he worked at the Serious Fraud Office. 

Angela Ainsley

Angela is a supervising associate in the Disputes & Investigations team at Simmons & Simmons. She has a range of experience in both commercial and criminal litigation, with much of her recent work focusing on financial crime and investigations.
